Creek Cleanups

Healthy creeks and watersheds are critical to provide habitat for fish and wildlife, and clean water for our local communities. As part of our Watershed Program, every year EDC hosts creek cleanups in the Goleta Watershed. In addition to trash and recyclables that individuals have improperly disposed of directly in our creeks, litter that is washed off our streets often finds its way through our storm drains and into our creeks and ocean. With the help of volunteers, EDC has removed thousands of pounds of trash from our creeks every year.

Please mark your calendar to join us on the following days. All clean-ups will begin at the meeting location at 9:00AM.
