TGIF: How Does a Great thing Keep Getting Better?!

img_1283_crop_tgifv1With 18 years of fine-tuning, we are proud to say that the 2016 TGIF season was the most successful yet, ending with a bang at our Fall Feast on October 14th. As the sun set over Santa Barbara, 300 people joined us in our festive downtown courtyard and enjoyed delicious food prepared by Big Easy Catering and Duo Catering, local wines by Neilson Winery and Stolpman Vineyards and craft beer by New Belgium Brewing Company, all while listening to music by The Americana Cats. What a great way to close the season!

This year we saw immense support from nearly 80 volunteers giving hundreds of hours of their free time, helping ensure each event went off without a hitch. Additionally, over 40 in-kind donors generously donated food, beverages and raffle items, bands offered their musical talent and 14 of our amazing client and partner groups joined us as sponsors of these events. Though we are extremely thankful for everyone who came together to make this TGIF season a smashing success, we could not have done so without the support of our four Season Underwriters; Accountability Plus, Energy Independence Now, SunRun and Toyota Mirai. This diverse group of companies was all new to EDC this year. Their dedication and passion toward the preservation of our local environment and support of EDC’s missionlead to an ideal partnership and joining forces for what we like to call “the hottest happy hour in town.” This enabled us to reach an even broader network and helped introduce us to more than 100 new people. Not only are we grateful for their support, but for the great work they continue to do not just in our community, but stretching beyond Santa Barbara, throughout California and even across our nation. We can’t thank you enough.
